Working as part of the in-house MTG Creative team, we started working on this pitch back in March this year. TV3 Denmark wanted something different for this year’s Christmas ident.
Straight away we knew we wanted to play with stop motion, as we had a brand new nifty 3D printer at our disposal. After months of testing this new toy, we proceeded to build the whole village. Once the various poses of each character were locked down in Maya, we then printed them and had them painted professionally.
This was a complete team effort, from pitch to air, with the work being led by Mac Gorski, 3D printer extraordinaire, and the talented Eugenia Barbazza.
